Executive producer Jacqui Lopez hopes to see the characters introduced in Star Wars: Visions continue their stories in other mediums. Star Wars Visions is an anthology series of animated short films set in the world of Star Wars. The first season features anime from different studios across Japan. Star Wars Visions season two will feature animated shorts from studios across the globe with different animation styles, including stop-motion.
Screen Rant spoke with Lopez about Star Wars: Visions. She explained how these characters are able to capture audiences in such a short amount of time. Lopez also shared her hopes for the Star Wars: Visions characters to appear in different mediums. Check out Lopez's full quote below:
Jacqui Lopez: I would love to see some of these characters in different mediums because I think they're so alive, and they're making real hard, complex choices. You really want to be with them for longer. So I think that's a testament to the success of this format and how personal these stories are to these filmmakers from their own cultural perspective.
Continuing The Star Wars Visions Stories In Other Mediums 
One of the most popular episodes of Star Wars: Visions first season, "The Duel," inspired an expansion of the lead character Ronin, whose story was continued in a novel and comic. Each episode of Star Wars: Visions ends satisfactorily, leaving the door open to more stories. Each episode could potentially be continued either in print, like "The Duel," or even as a spin-off animated series.
