Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has revealed a surprising connection between Eno Cordova and a fan-favorite prequel character. Many presumed Cere Junda's former mentor Eno to be dead during Jedi: Fallen Order, with only his holograms making an appearance in the game to guide the Stinger Mantis crew on their journey to acquire a list of Force-sensitive children after he sensed his life would soon come to an end and imparted this onto his companion droid BD-1. Jedi: Survivor showed this was not the case, however, as he eventually found his old apprentice Cere and formed part of the Hidden Path on Jedha, and the character has a significantly larger presence throughout the game's story.

Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order, placing it in 9 BBY, around the same time as the Disney+ show Obi-Wan Kenobi. This is nearly a decade on from the final prequel movie Revenge of the Sith, and therefore, unlike some characters in the original and sequel trilogy, many have experienced the events of the prequels firsthand, such as Eno, who was one of the few Jedi who remained sensitive enough to the Force to recognize the threat of Order 66, which enabled him to secure the holocron of Force-sensitive children from the Empire when the Jedi Order fell. Therefore, there are several references to prominent characters from the prequel trilogy throughout Jedi: Survivor's story.
