The upcoming Ahsoka Disney+ TV show starring Rosario Dawson seems like it may be a continuation of Star Wars Rebels, but including certain characters from The Clone Wars is key. Ahsoka Tano was first introduced in The Clone Wars movie and was a major staple in the show of the same name. During The Clone Wars, Ahsoka worked with many characters, and they often only showed up if the plot called for them to be there. This meant that some minor characters only appeared in a few episodes, despite them being likable.
While it’s confirmed that multiple characters from Rebels are set to appear in Ahsoka, there’s been no word on if or how many characters from The Clone Wars will be involved. There are many directions the show could go, but not including characters that are closely associated with Ahsoka from The Clone Wars feels like a missed opportunity, especially when it would better flush out these characters’ individual arcs. Additionally, it would be interesting to see where these characters are after the fall of the Empire.
