Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for Jedi: SurvivorA new Star Wars theory puts Jedi Master Mace Windu at the center of a secret group of Jedi assassins. It's widely known that the Jedi Order became massively compromised due to their role in the Clone Wars as generals for the Grand Army of the Republic. However, Mace Windu may have played a more significant role in the Jedi's hypocrisy than what's already been confirmed thus far.
As seen in Respawn's Jedi: Survivor game, mercenary Bode Akuna joins Jedi Cal Kestis in his mission to resist the Empire. However, his true nature as a former Jedi and spy for the Imperial Security Bureau is ultimately revealed. It's confirmed that Kestis had no idea about Bode who'd been trained to mask his connection to the Force even from the most powerful Jedi Masters. This ability is particularly concerning as it has an inherently deceptive purpose. Likewise, it further supports the theory that Windu had certain Jedi positioned in morally questionable roles during the Clone Wars, skirting the dark side in very compromising ways.
