In the climactic Ahsoka finale, Baylan Skoll is briefly seen at the end of the episode standing atop a pair of statues reminiscent of the Argonath from The Lord of the Rings. Despite their brief appearance, the statues finally answer the question of what Baylan has been searching for on Peridea.
Throughout the Ahsoka series, Baylan has hinted that he’s looking for some sort of power beyond the Jedi and the Sith. He sees the struggle in the galaxy as a cycle of hatred that will never end, unless he takes action to end it himself. However, with his recent discovery in the finale, it appears he may have discovered the ancient power he needs.
