Star Wars author Christie Golden was hired to pen a Sword of the Jedi trilogy about Jaina after the events of the Fate of the Jedi series, but the project was canceled when Disney acquired the franchise. While Jaina was a prominent character throughout the EU, The New Jedi Order and Legacy of the Force series focused more on Jacen and their younger brother, Anakin Solo. The Sword of the Jedi trilogy would have given Jaina more time in the spotlight and expanded on her role within the New Jedi Order.
