Many of the popular characters from Star Wars Rebels are set to return in the upcoming Ahsoka Disney+ TV show, but here's where viewers have seen them last. The animated Star Wars Rebels TV show was set shortly before the events of the first Star Wars movie, focused on a small group of rebels aboard their ship the Ghost. There were several original trilogy cameos in Rebels, with the stories serving to bridge the gap between the prequels and the adventures of Luke Skywalker.
Since then, the characters from Star Wars Rebels have appeared in many other stories – and in a wide range of mediums. This means the stories don't technically pick up where Star Wars Rebels left off, which is exciting given it means the Ghost crew will have changed and grown. Here's where they last appeared.
10 Ahsoka Tano The former Jedi Padawan to Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano acted as Hera Syndulla’s contact Fulcrum in Rebels season 1. Ahsoka was a major part of Star Wars Rebels season 2, reappearing in season 4 when Ezra Bridger rescued her from Darth Vader using the World Between the Worlds. Ahsoka has appeared in many projects including Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Tales of the Jedi (which tells her origin story), The Mandalorian, and The Book of Boba Fett. Rosario Dawson played the live-action Ahsoka in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 5 and The Book of Boba Fett episode 6.
In chronological order, Ahsoka's last appearance was in The Book of Boba Fett when she left Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy. She seemed to be going off on a mission, likely setting her up to seek out Ezra Bridger – as per Star Wars Rebels' epilogue. Presumably this will explain Ahsoka's mysterious Gandalf-like transformation in the epilogue.
