Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has an easy-to-miss detail that may confirm one of the franchise's biggest mysteries regarding the origin of the Jedi. Not much is known about this era in Star Wars history, but some hints can be gleaned from the studies of Jedi Master Eno Cordova, who took a particular interest in an ancient Force-sensitive species called the Zeffonians.

There are only a few confirmed details about the first Jedi Order. It was established about twenty-five thousand years before the Battle of Yavin on the planet Ahch-To by a Force wielder known as the Prime Jedi. Both the first Jedi Temple and an image of the Prime Jedi can be seen in The Last Jedi. Jedi: Survivor doesn’t directly reference either, but a passing detail about the Zeffo’s final destination could actually be a considerable link between them and the Jedi Order’s origins.
Jedi: Survivor Hints That Zeffo Traveled To The Unknown Regions If Cal takes the time to speak with Eno Cordova during downtime between Jedi: Survivor’s main story missions, the Jedi Master reveals the culmination of his studies on the Zeffo. He was unable to locate any surviving members of the species, but he knows that those who survived the downfall on their home planet left for the Outer Rim. Curiously, the Zeffo homeworld is already located in the Outer Rim territories.
