Star Wars: Visions is a collection of animated short films from different studios that offer a unique new perspective on Star Wars. The first volume focused on Japanese studios, with each episode featuring a different anime style. Volume 2 expands to include studios from around the world, including Ireland, Chile, South Korea, and South Africa.
Star Wars Visions has to balance the freedom for each studio to tell original creative stories while staying true to the heart of Star Wars. Each Star Wars: Visions episode explores new characters' stories, including the Sith, the Jedi, and characters that aren't connected to Force users. The Star Wars Visions episodes are also influenced by the culture of each country, with the French episode tapping into the idea of spy dancers while the Irish episode brings the Irish ghost story style into Star Wars.
