The Ahsoka series is one of Star Wars’ most anticipated TV shows releasing after The Mandalorian season 3. When Ahsoka Tano first made her canon debut in The Clone Wars film, she was met with outrage for supposedly breaking canon by being Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan. Yet, The Clone Wars series gradually fleshed out her character into one of the galaxy’s most well-rounded heroines. By the time of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka has battled against some of the most formidable opponents in the galaxy. She transforms from a sarcastic learner intent on proving herself as a Jedi into a serene and mysterious warrior.
Details on the Ahsoka series point to her teaming up with Sabine Wren to hunt down and rescue Ezra Bridger, who went missing with Grand Admiral Thrawn at the end of Star Wars Rebels. Bridger and Thrawn were transported from Lothal by purrgils—who recently made their live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 3. With their whereabouts unknown, Ahsoka is forced to traverse the galaxy to try and bring Bridger back, leading to her live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 2. But even though Ahsoka’s quest is settled, her series still has the difficult task of filling in gaps in her story.
