Star Wars' upcoming High Republic Disney+ show The Acolyte has seemingly been confirmed for an eight-episode long season. While details on The Acolyte have been scarce outside a brief plot synopsis, casting details, and various behind-the-camera contributors, news on the show will likely ramp up moving into the latter half of 2023. With Star Wars Celebration planned for London in April, it is highly likely Lucasfilm will debut the first official look at the long-awaited High Republic-era show.
That being said, an unusual source has provided some details surrounding The Acolyte's season length, as per a post by Sara Putt Associates, a well-known talent agency. The news comes from the information page for intimacy coordinator Adelaide Waldrop, who is confirmed to work on the High Republic-based The Acolyte across eight, 60-minute episodes. While it is worth noting that the episodes could still fluctuate in length, given they were likely put through as a simple block, the eight-episode season length remains consistent with the likes of The Mandalorian, of which the three seasons so far have consisted of the same episode count.
