Summary
- Ahsoka's early years as a rebel remain a mystery, and future projects like Tales of the Jedi season 2 could explore this period.
- The story of how Ahsoka escaped Malachor after her duel with Darth Vader is still unknown, but it could be told in Ahsoka season 2 or Tales of the Jedi season 2.
- Ahsoka's actions during the original Star Wars trilogy era and why Sabine blames her for Mandalore's fall are questions that could be answered in Ahsoka season 2, The Mandalorian-era movie, or potential future projects.
Ahsoka Tano has quickly become one of Star Wars' most recurring characters, but she still has many stories that haven't yet been told. As the former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka is one of the most important figures in the galaxy, especially now that she has taken on a lead role in pursuing Grand Admiral Thrawn in the New Republic Era. Between animation, novels, and live-action, Ahsoka is perhaps Star Wars' most popular character in transmedia, and her lists of stories is only going to continue to grow as the future of Star Wars flourishes.
Despite Ahsoka now having her own live-action series and being featured in several other Star Wars properties, she still has many stories left to be told. All the moving pieces it's taken for Ahsoka to appear, from her debut during the Clone Wars to the New Republic Era, have made it hard to answer every question about her and how she's been able to travel throughout the galaxy leading to Ahsoka's place in the Star Wars timeline. These are six stories that Star Wars has yet to tell about Ahsoka, and how they can bring those stories to life.

She had a hand in helping Bail Organa to unite some of the scattered rebel cells, including the Ghost crew. Using the code name "Fulcrum" – as borrowed from her former master – Ahsoka was a key player in taking the Empire down, yet her early years in the Rebellion still haven't been shown. All that's known is that she was recruited by Bail Organa, but the rest of the work she did in the years leading up to Rebels is unknown.
Given that Star Wars is releasing a Tales of the Jedi season 2, that would be a perfect place to show what Ahsoka might have been up to during the earliest years of the Rebellion in the Dark Times. It could even be shown briefly in Andor season 2, seeing as someone as high-up in rebel intelligence as Cassian Andor likely would have had to cross paths with Ahsoka at least once. There are a few opportunities in the future to provide a hint as to what Ahsoka's early years as a rebel were like.
5 How Ahsoka Escaped Malachor In Star Wars Rebels It was Ezra Bridger himself who saved Ahsoka from her duel with Darth Vader on Malachor by using the World Between Worlds. Following her rescue, she insisted on returning to Malachor in the present day and finding her own way back to Ezra and the others. That adventure of hers remains a mystery, as she was certainly left on Malachor with no easy way to escape. Any ships were long gone, and even people like Maul had already left. Somehow, though, Ahsoka evidently made it back.
Ahsoka season 2 could tell this story, especially if she's brainstorming with Sabine Wren about how they can get off Peridea. It would be a perfect opportunity for her to recount how she was able to escape Malachor as she tries to apply it to their current predicament. It could also, again, be told in Tales of the Jedi season 2, should Ahsoka be taking a focus in the animated anthology once again.
